No Teams Near You?
Looking to start a team? Please review this information and contact the League Director with questions.
Individuals can participate in the West Virginia League, but it’s even more fun to have a team to train and race with. Whether you are a student or coach, the League is here to help you form a team in your area or at your school.
It only takes one adult, and one student-athlete
Extensive cycling experience is not necessary
We're Here To Help
Our Staff Can Help:- Athletes find coaches
- Coaches form teams
- Teams become recognized by their schools
- Teams find additional volunteers
Start A Team
WHO | Administrators, teachers, parents, students and/or community members can start a cycling club in their local area or at their local middle or high school. One should simply have the desire to introduce kids to the sport of mountain biking. Once you have decided to create a team, the League can help educate you and provide you with all the tools necessary to be an excellent coach. |

WHAT | A WV League mountain bike team can be any size, as long as correct coach-to-student-athlete ratios are abided by. |

We Need Your Help
We are a volunteer-based organization. Without our dedicated volunteers, parents, and coaches, our programs would not exist. Race-day volunteers are what make our events a success. Volunteering for a race is a single-day (or a few hours) commitment and is perfect for someone who wants to be involved but is limited on time.
Race Volunteers

Rally In The Valley | Sep 14th and 15th
Battle at Big Bear | Sep 28th and 29th
