West Virginia Interscholastic Cycling League

Volunteer

We are a volunteer-based organization. Without our dedicated volunteers, parents, and coaches, our programs would not exist. Race-day volunteers are what make our events a success.

Volunteering for a race is a single-day (or a few hours) commitment and is perfect for someone who wants to be involved but is limited on time.

Help us change lives through cycling!

NICA is the leading interscholastic cycling organization in the United States. Since 2009, NICA leagues have spread to 25 regions around the US, we have impacted the lives of over 27,000 student-athletes, and have an amazing volunteer corps of more than 16,000 folks just like you who choose to give back to mountain biking.

Volunteering with our league is easy.

Have Fun While Making A Difference In Your Community and in the lives of West Virginia's Teens!

"This program is fantastic and well worth the volunteer time and effort. Flat out awesome scene to get kids on bikes, taste some racing, and create some spill over interest to siblings and parents."

There are lots of positions available and we know some can look complex and possibly overwhelming for first-time volunteers. Rest assured ALL of our volunteer positions are fun and straightforward. With the help of our training videos and onsite review, you’ll feel confident and well-prepared volunteering for a race. So pick one (or two!) that sound interesting to you, and look forward to the fun!
