• Smoke Hole Canyon
  • It's a bit of a drive ~ 45 minutes, but it is a favorite local recommendation
  • Float Big Bend! There is a special spot in the canyon right near Big Bend CG where you put in the river on one side of the road, go around a big bend in a tube on the river, then get out where you originally parked back on the other side of the road. It's seriously some of the best summer time family fun around
  • Try Swimming And Primitive Tubing At Big Bend In West Virginia. You do need to bring a tube or PFD, or purchase locally.
• Mule's Hole, Bemis, WV - It's an incredible swimming hole, very remote
• Swimming Hole at Seneca Rocks
• Brandywine Lake, and swimming beach - nearby (~25 minutes), bring your paddleboard, or just bring your suit for some beach swimming.

• Visit the highest point in West Virginia - Spruce Knob
• Seneca Caverns or Smokehole Caverns - commercial caves

  • George Washington NF - we have a gravel route that leads you from our gate to the GWNF
  • Hike the Seneca Creek Backcountry to a beautiful waterfall

Emergency Access Plans (EAPs) are an integral piece of the overall system we use to proactively identify and manage the risks inherent to the sport of mountain biking, while supporting the goals of developing student-athletes as riders and having fun. EAPs help us think through the challenges and appropriateness of an event venue, as well as help us plan ahead and prepare for managing incidents that occur during an event.
